US HIFU Patient Requirements for Travel to Canada
For American patients traveling to Canada for HIFU treatment, please note United States entry requirements.
Under the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI):
- As of January 1, 2008, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling between the U.S. and Canada are required to present a valid passport or other documents as determined by the Department of Homeland Security.
When planning international travel, please be sure that you are in possession of all required documents. Remember to allow ample time for acquiring official travel documents.
