Dr. Edward Woods is a Toronto Urologist. He holds certification as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada.
Dr. Woods is Canadian born but raised in the United States. Dr. Woods completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Washington University in St. Louis. He then moved to Canada for his medical and urologic training at the University of Toronto. Following his urologic training, Dr. Woods completed a clinical fellowship at the Toronto Western Hospital and worked at Scarborough General Hospital for over a decade..
Dr. Woods has a specific interest in new technologies in urology, including the use of lasers and minimally invasive bladder techniques and surgery. Dr. Woods is also actively involved in clinical research in benign prostatic hypertrophy and prostate cancer.
